Commercial Vehicle Signage
12-Month Installation Warranty.
All commercial vehicle signage installations are covered by our 12-month installation workmanship warranty from the date of installation. This warranty covers issues directly related to the installation process and ensures your business vehicle signage remains securely applied and professionally presented.
What Our Warranty Covers
Edge Lifting
Edge lifting refers to vinyl signage beginning to peel or lift along panel edges, trims, or body lines due to installation-related adhesion failure. If the vinyl detaches from the edge because of improper surface preparation or installation technique, this is covered.
Corner Lifting
Corner lifting occurs when vinyl at sharp corners or tight curves begins to lift or separate from the vehicle surface. If lifting is caused by installation workmanship rather than external damage, it is covered.
Adhesion Failure (Installation-Related)
Adhesion failure refers to the vinyl not bonding properly to the vehicle surface due to installation-related factors. If signage separates from the panel because of incorrect preparation or application technique, this is covered.
Installation Defects
Installation defects include visible issues resulting directly from workmanship during application, such as improperly secured edges or failure to fully adhere graphics to the intended surface.
What Is NOT Covered
Exclusions.
Normal Wear and Tear
Gradual ageing of vinyl due to time, environmental exposure, and daily use. This includes minor dulling or surface changes that occur naturally over time.
UV Fading
Fading or colour change caused by prolonged exposure to sunlight and UV radiation. Vehicles parked outdoors for extended periods may experience faster colour ageing.
Water Spotting / Mineral Staining
Water spotting occurs when mineral-rich water dries on the vehicle surface and leaves deposits behind. Common minerals include calcium, magnesium, silica, lime, iron, sodium, chlorine, and dissolved salts.
Improper Washing
Damage caused by washing in direct sunlight, allowing water to air-dry, or using incorrect cleaning methods. Washing on hot panels can cause water to evaporate quickly and leave mineral deposits.
Pressure Washing at Edges
Using high-pressure water directly at vinyl edges or seams can force water underneath the film and weaken adhesion. Damage from aggressive pressure washing is not covered.
Chemical Damage
Damage caused by harsh cleaning chemicals, solvents, degreasers, or non-approved cleaning agents that affect the vinyl surface or adhesive.
Abrasive Cleaning
Using rough brushes, scouring pads, or abrasive materials that scratch or damage the vinyl surface.
Accident or Impact Damage
Damage caused by collisions, scrapes, stone chips, or physical impact from external objects.
Vandalism
Intentional damage such as scratching, cutting, or peeling performed by third parties.
Environmental Contamination
Damage caused by tree sap, bird droppings, industrial fallout, road tar, or other environmental pollutants left on the surface for extended periods.
